Tent-segrity
2015
The design inspiration and concept come from the organized interstellar chaos. The structure solution is a streamline - tensegrity construction. There's an art installation, reminding simultaneously for the chaos in the space, which particles are in a strong specific connection by one or another way.
The built-up area of the facility is 76m2. In its lower part it has 360cm height and in the highest - 470cm, which gives a good volume for the containing - the pendent art instalation.
Materials:
The furniture is in white and yellow which helps for a comfortable and a calm situation. They are mainly made of ply-wood and steel. The structure is built up by two basic elements - tensioned steel cables and steel tubes. The tubes are painted in metallic gray but the cables are the accent with their yellow color. A vinyl is the material for the part-closed walls and the roof. Painted in yellow the walking line from the enntrandce guides youto the consoled bar, which hangs over on two additional cables at its end.
